about

In Psalms: The Poetry of Prayer, Caroline Cobb gives voice to a rich range of prayers from the Psalms, helping you express trust, hope, joy, confession, lament and more through 11 tracks. Featuring Jess Ray (Mission House), Aaron Fabbrini (Sara Groves, Jason Gray), and Wendell Kimbrough (Porter’s Gate) and patterned loosely after the A.C.T.S. model of prayer or a church service, many of these songs began during Cobb’s private devotional time, as she prayed the Psalms back to God in the upheaval of 2020, and personal burnout and the loss of her dad in 2021.

Psalms: The Poetry of Prayer is the fifth in an anthology of albums that tell God’s Story from scripture, building on Caroline’s previous full-length projects A King & His Kindness (2021), A Seed, A Sunrise (2020) a Home & a Hunger (2017) and the Blood + the Breath (2013). Cobb has been featured by Christianity Today, The Rabbit Room, The Gospel Coalition and many more.
