From Jeremiah 31:31-37, where God promises a new covenant.

God does not mince words about what His people have done… though He was like a faithful husband to them, they were like a faithless, adulterous wife. And yet, He makes an amazing promise to this faithless people here, through the prophet Jeremiah.

He promises to put this law that they’ve had such a hard time following within their hearts. He promises undeserved forgiveness and a relationship with Him, regardless of their status. And the greatest thing? He swears by Himself that He will never cast them aside.

These promises are ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ, who through His sacrifice achieved forgiveness and reconciliation with God on our behalf.
